The Office of Safe Environment presents John Fraleigh, BSN, RN, CFRN on the topic of Human Trafficking on National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, January 11, 2018. This event is for School Personnel, Counselors, Administrators, Safe Environment Coordinators, Safe Environment Trainers, Parents, Grandparents, Caregivers, and Medical Professionals. Registration fee is $6. You will learn the following:

  • Discuss how common sex trafficking is and where it’s taking place
  • Explain how someone can become a victim of human trafficking
  • Identify who is at greatest risk of becoming a victim
  • Explore some possible physical indicators of a sex trafficked victim
  • Provide examples of how to speak to a victim of human trafficking
  • Discuss what to do if human trafficking is suspected
