An André House Way of the Cross
As we begin these stations, there is a temptation to view this liturgy as merely an historical reenactment. Yet as Christians, we believe that all of God’s people comprise the living Body of Christ among us. And so this Way we walk is not a dry history but a living witness to the ways in which Christ continues to be condemned and crucified in his people.
This liturgy offers examples of such crucifixion here in our own neighborhood. Institutions that create barriers to those experiencing poverty and homelessness as well as those who aid these individuals. As you walk with us, we invite you to reflect upon where else you see Christ crucified today.
