Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, known historically by it’s latin name of Corpus Christi, is the celebration of the real presence–body, blood, soul and divinity–of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Many parishes celebrate this most holy day with a Eucharistic procession of our Lord throughout the surrounding neighborhood, or simply with a procession around the exterior of the parish building.
