We seek to hire one reliable full-time or two reliable part-time administrative assistant(s) for the following role: 

Parish Administrative Assistant/Assistant Development

Function: The Parish Administrative Assistant/Assistant Development contributes to a welcoming environment at Holy Trinity Catholic Newman Center. As the first-person greeting parishioners and students, this assistant supports the ministries that promote spiritual growth and missionary discipleship. In addition, this position addresses questions from telephone and email inquiries, assists with detailed document preparation, and helps organize the multiple activities of the Newman Center.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active practicing Roman Catholic in full communion with the Church.
• Commitment to the Church’s mission to welcome all and to spread the Gospel.

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in general office procedures, secretarial techniques, and record-keeping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Demonstrated professionalism and confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
  
• Part-Time:     Flexible hours, 20-29 hours per week.
• Full-Time:      Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, with occasional evening hours if required. Benefits and health insurance.
