We are seeking a passionate and organized Catechetical Coordinator to join our team and help guide our faith formation program.
Job Summary: The Catechetical Coordinator will manage the implementation of catechetical programs for children ages K through Grade 5; and middle school or high school students who are out of sequence for receiving the Sacraments. This role requires collaboration with the Director of Evangelization, parish staff, volunteers, and families to ensure effective faith formation and compliance with diocesan guidelines. This role will require individual to be onsite during the Wednesday evening sessions and periodically supporting weekend catechetical activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate catechetical programs, including Wednesday evening Faith Formation classes, and sacramental preparation for students up through high school.
- Recruit and support catechists and volunteers.
- Maintain accurate records of program participants and sacramental preparation.
- Collaborate with parish staff to integrate catechetical programs into the broader parish mission.
- Ensure compliance with diocesan policies and guidelines.
- Communicate regularly with the Director of Evangelization, parents, catechists, and parishioners about program updates and events.

Job Requirements:Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in catechetical ministry or religious education.
- Strong administration, organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Commitment to the teachings and values of the Catholic Church and must be in good standing, practicing Catholic.
- Bachelor’s degree in theology, Religious Studies, or a related field is preferred.
