The Diocese of Phoenix and Courage International will host the upcoming Truth and Love conference. The goal is to offer sound practical and pastoral guidance on the topics of homosexuality and sexual identity. The event, Jan. 9–11, 2017, at St. Paul Parish in Phoenix, is the third of its kind. Previous educational conferences organized by Courage and various co-sponsors have been held in Detroit and Rome.
The Office of Vocations of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix is releasing a series of video profiles on the priesthood titled Sacerdote. The videos, which may be watched at youtube.com/mifecatolica, seek to encourage Hispanic families to open up to vocations to the priesthood. According to Fr. Paul Sullivan, Director of the Office of Vocations for the Diocese of Phoenix, “The importance of openness among Hispanic families to vocations to the priesthood and religious life is critical for vibrancy of the Church.”
