OB/GYN, Nurse Practitioner or Midwife

Responsibilities:

1)    Provide medical services as outlined in our scope of care. Including testing, diagnosing, treating, and monitoring diseases and issues related to women’s health.

2)    Provide Prenatal Care – Monitoring and treating expectant mothers during pregnancy and postpartum. (we do not deliver)

3)    Provide medical counsel and support to women during pregnancy.

4)    Conduct screening exams such as Well Woman Exams, including PAP smears, pelvic and breast exams and select blood studies when indicated.

5)    Review and sign off on incoming labs and imaging reports.

6)    Ensure complete and accurate medical documentation in our EMR.

7)    Direct communication with Nurse Manager

8)    Collaborate with other medical and non-medical personnel.

9)    Keep up to date with current practices and compliance measures.

Bilingual English & Spanish a plus

Qualifications:

1)    A licensed, practicing OB/GYN MD, Nurse Midwife or Nurse Practitioner with OB/ GYN experience.

2)    Expresses full agreement with the Center’s Pro-Life Mission Statement, and scope of care.

3)    Treats clients and staff with compassionate care

4)    Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

5)    Is comfortable with working with at risk and low-income patients.
