The Chapel Coordinator is a member of the Chapel Staff who reports to the Pastor, the Manager of the Chapel, and the Director of Evangelization. The Chapel Coordinator is responsible for organizing, directing, and implementing the outreach and evangelization of our Chapel ministries based on our Parish mission. 

  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Theology. Master’s degree is preferred. 
  • Three years in ministry at parish or Diocesan level.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Will need to go through Safe Environment Training.

Salary: Based on experience and qualifications. Includes full benefits (Diocesan medical and dental) and pension plan includes 403B, life insurance and short-term disability.

Includes two weeks of vacation, 11 holidays and 64 hours of sick time.

Job Requirements:

Essential Job Functions 


Chapel Orientation 

  • Help visitors to have a better experience at the Chapel.
  • Pioneer Chapel Ambassador Program.

o Develop a training program for volunteers to become Ambassadors.

o Organize regular times for Ambassadors to come to the Chapel.


Candles

  •  Promote Perpetual Candles 

Ministry Coordinator 

  • Masses, Adoration, Confession, Prayer Teams 

o Advertise and promote them

o Coordinate volunteers 

  • Evangelization Team

o Train new members

o Organize regular times for Evangelization 


Media Coordinator

  • Post on social media (Instagram, Facebook).
  • Contribute to the monthly Chapel Newsletter.
  • Responds to and coordinates publicity/media requests to film at the Chapel.
  • Coordinates advertising and marketing for the Chapel.
  • Chamber of Commerce main contact. 
  • Manages brochures and guest book. 

Development and Fundraising

  • Work under the Director of Development and with the Pastor to develop a strategy for fundraising at the Chapel. 

Miscellaneous

  • Meet once a month with the Chapel Manager.
  • Work with Safe Environment Training Coordinator to get all employees trained and up to date.
