Coordinator/Facilitator, Liturgy
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Liturgical Coordinator to join our team. As the Liturgical Coordinator, you will be responsible for all aspects of liturgy, including training of liturgical ministers, set-up for all liturgical events, calendaring of liturgical ministers, and sacramental events, including all of OCIA rites, environmental decor, and funeral arrangements. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all liturgical events run smoothly and that our parishioners receive the best possible experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of liturgy, including training of liturgical ministers, set-up for all liturgical events, calendaring of liturgical ministers, and sacramental events, including all of OCIA and funeral arrangements
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that all liturgical events are properly planned and executed
- Train and schedule liturgical ministers, ensuring that they are prepared to serve during liturgical events
- Work with the pastor and other staff members to ensure that all liturgical events are properly calendared and that all necessary preparations are made
- Ensure that all sacramental events, including all of OCIA and funeral arrangements, are properly planned and executed
- Maintain accurate records of liturgical events and sacramental events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in theology, liturgy, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in liturgical ministry
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Catholic liturgy and sacramental theology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
