Director of Liturgy

All Saints Catholic Church, a diverse and growing community of 3,000 families, is seeking a full-time Director of Liturgy. In collaboration with the pastor, this position will coordinate planning of all liturgical celebrations and all other aspects of liturgy. 

Responsibilities include:

· Oversees the execution of all parish liturgies including morning and evening daily Masses, weekend Masses, funerals, weddings, and all other liturgical celebrations

· Schedules and coordinates all parish liturgical celebrations

· Oversees Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, working with volunteer coordinators and adorers

· Prepares all aides needed for Masses, including A/V aids, and assists with print materials including liturgy related bulletin articles, flyers, etc.

· Set-up for all liturgical and sacramental events

· Prepares the schedule of liturgical volunteers and clergy

· Works closely with Director of Music

· Collaborates with staff and other ministries for liturgical events

· Recruits and trains all liturgical ministers including Ushers/Greeters, Altar Servers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, Sacristans, Art & Environment, and A/V volunteers

· Develops and supervises leadership team for volunteers

· Offers recurring training opportunities for all volunteers and ensures requirements of Safe Environment Training are met

Job Requirements:

· Must be a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church

· Bachelor’s Degree in theology, liturgy or related field preferred

· Minimum of three years experience in liturgical ministry

· Knowledge and proficiency in current aspects of Catholic Liturgy 

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Knowledge of MSP software a plus
