Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish and Immaculate Conception Catholic School are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance and Human Resources Administrator to manage both functions for both entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and HR, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Pastor and School Principal.

Job Requirements:

  

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for both the parish  and the school.

Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and financial reporting.

Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers as needed.

2. Payroll Administration:

Manage payroll processing for parish and school staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Coordinate with external payroll service providers and finance department to ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.

3. Human Resources Management:

Oversee all aspects of HR administration for both the parish and the school, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance management.

Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. 

Act as Coordinator for Safe Environment Training.

4. Benefits Administration:

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and other fringe benefits.

Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

5. Policy Development and Compliance:

 Develop and implement Finance and HR policies and procedures to ensure 

compliance with Catholic Church and educational institution regulations.

Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations, and update policies accordingly.

6. Employee Relations:

Handle employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.

Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation as appropriate. 

7. Administrative Support:

Provide administrative support to parish and school leadership, including scheduling  meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining records.

Coordinate office operations, including supplies procurement, equipment maintenance,  and facilities management.

8. Community Engagement:

Represent both the parish and the school in the local community, fostering positive  relationships and partnerships.

Participate in community events and initiatives to support the mission of Immaculate  Conception Catholic Parish and School. 

  

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Previous experience in Finance Administration and HR, preferably in a church or educational setting.

· Strong knowledge of payroll, accounting, HR and administrative processes and best practices.

· Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
