Maintenance Supervisor

To support Holy Spirit Catholic Church in its mission in service of the Body of Christ, this position, under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, assumes the responsibility of the maintenance work for Holy Spirit Catholic Church performs skilled and semiskilled building maintenance and repairs requiring a working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical work; responsible for general upkeep and cleaning of the church, hall, classrooms, and the grounds; performs related work as required.

Job Requirements:

• Assures all buildings and grounds are maintained in a manner that provides a healthy, safe, and attractive physical environment.
• Ensure floors are mopped and vacuumed, bathrooms are clean, windows are washed, furniture is maintained, and the grounds are maintained in a clean and safe manner.
• Performs minor maintenance of buildings and their components when needed.
• Performs plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other minor repair work on the facilities when needed. 
• Performs minor construction, and basic mechanical maintenance and implements preventative maintenance schedules on buildings and equipment. 
• Paints and repairs walls, various types of furniture, doors, windows, floors, gates, roofs, and ceilings. 
• Prepares meeting rooms, classrooms, and other spaces for rental and activities coordinating with the weekly calendar and the Pastor.
• Research orders, and store all supplies needed for maintenance and repairs.
• Requests supplies and parts from the executive director or vendors as needed.
• Maintains a list of vendors as needed for contracted services for landscape care, HVAC maintenance, and pest control; assures work is done to specifications. 
• Any other tasks deemed necessary by the Pastor.
