Diocese of Phoenix Suspends Catholic Masses, School Closures and Other Restrictions

In the hope of minimizing the effects of COVID-19, Bishop Olmsted is suspending all weekday and Sunday Masses and asking for all parish- and diocesan-based public gatherings to be cancelled, effective immediately and until further notice.

Likewise, the decision has been made to close all Diocese of Phoenix Catholic schools from Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 27. This new directive coincides with the Governor’s March 15, 2020, announcement.
