Essentials of the Catholic Faith |
Curious Catholics, Parish Catechist, Catholic School Teachers | Essentials of the Catholic Faith is a shorter program that offers the participant a more compact introduction to the teachings of Christ, for the purpose of knowing and following Jesus more deeply. | Eight 6-hour sessions, Offered one Saturday a month throughout the year or during the summer 2-week intensive course Monday through Friday | $125 for 8 sessions $150 for ESS, plus 2 sessions for catechist certification. | Fill our application form and return along with $20 application fee. Adult Faith Formation |

Courses are taught at an introductory undergraduate level. | This is a 2-year certificate program. Classes meet once a week, three hours for 5 weeks. You can take these classes in our morning session 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or our evening session 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. | $1,050.00 for credit (per year) $1,000 AUDIT (per year) | Fill our application form and return along with $20 application fee. Adult Faith Formation + Parish Leadership |
Curious Catholics, Parish Catechists, Parish Volunteers, Parish Managers/ Administration, Deacon Inquirers | The Adult Faith Formation and Parish Leadership Combined program is also offered together as an in-depth, two-year catechist certification and faith formation program, intended for Catholics desiring deeper formation, and a comprehensive overview of the Faith. Parish Leadership (PL) courses are designed to equip current and aspiring leaders for effective service in the parish. | This is a 2-year certificate program. Classes meet once a week, three hours for 5 weeks for the AFF classes and on selected Saturdays 8:00 -4:30. There are 4, 2-Saturday classes throughout the two years. | $1,150 for credit (per year) $1,100 Audit (per year) | Fill our application form and return along with $20 application fee. We’re very excited you’ve decided to apply for our programs. To assist you during the process here’s some important information:
All of our prospective students complete the application form, along with a $20 fee. If you are applying for the Adult Faith Formation and Parish Leadership program, you’ll also need to get two recommendation forms. One from your current Pastor, and the second one preferably from someone who’s worked with you in a parish setting. If you are applying for the Adult Faith Formation program or auditing, there is no need for the recommendation letters.
We make things easy for you. We take cash, checks, and credit cards. If your parish is sponsoring your tuition, we can invoice them directly. Payment plans available. Please contact our office for more information.
One of our main goals is to make our programs accessible to everyone. There are a variety of options available to pay your tuition. You can make one lump sum payment prior to starting your classes (August 1st), of you could choose one of our flexible plans – 2 payments, half of tuition due prior to starting classes (August 1st), and the other half by January 31st. Or you could choose our most flexible plan – 4 payments throughout the year, due August 1st, October 31st, January 31st and March 31st.
If you need a different payment plan, please contact our office and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you.
While we have a very limited number of partial scholarships for the Adult Faith Formation and Parish Leadership Combined Program. These are on a first come, first serve basis, and go through a committee for approval. In order to apply for a scholarship, you must fill out an application form and submit your recommendation forms.
