Mass of Remembrance for People who have Died by Suicide

Bishop Dolan invites you to begin National Suicide Prevention Week by praying for those who have died by suicide. Join him each year for the Annual Mass of Remembrance at Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral, or tune in live on AZTV Channel 7, YouTube, or Facebook.

St. Dymphna, pray for us.

As part of the Mass of Remembrance, please join us in praying by name for the people brought forward by the loved ones they left behind and for those not listed who are known only to the Lord.

We pray:

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.

If you are in crisis or you think you may have an emergency, call your doctor or 911 immediately. If you’re having suicidal thoughts, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) to talk to a skilled, trained counselor at a crisis center in your area at any time.
