World Youth Day (WYD), Jornada Mundial De La Juventud (JMJ) is a global pilgrimage held every 2-4 years, during which the Church celebrates and engages young people in their faith through prayer, catechesis, the sacraments, and community. It is a festive encounter with the living Christ, and with one another, where the universality of the Church is exemplified.
