Evangelization, Discipleship & Spirituality

“The church is not merely stone and mortar. We ourselves are the living stones founded on Christ. Every baptized person contributes to this spiritual edifice.” – Bishop John P. Dolan, Word and Art, based on 1 Cor. 3:11. 16-17)

Evangelization is a Sacred Invitation

From our Gospel stories, we learn that the Christian journey begins with an ENCOUNTER with Jesus. From these encounters, people are touched, moved, engaged, and changed. Jesus extends an invitation to every person to follow along with Him. To listen, to learn, to discover, and to discern all that His message, His works, and His way of life reveal. As Catholics, we journey through these stages of growth towards spiritual maturity; this is a lifelong journey. We continue to blossom in this new life through nourishing our CONNECTION to God through prayer, the sacraments, community life, and the giving of our lives in service. Together as we live this life in Christ, we TESTIFY to the LIGHT of the MYSTERY of LOVE, (TILMA) and, “Build a Culture of EVANGELIZATION.”

Evangelization, Catechesis & Sacramental Life

The Office of Evangelization, Catechesis, and Sacramental Life is here to welcome and accompany families, adults, and parish leaders in an encounter with Jesus, fostering a lifelong process of growth in faith and transformation in Christ. Our office works to train and equip catechetical leaders and small faith communities with the tools and resources needed to foster vibrant parish communities in today’s world. We support parishes in the preparation and celebration of the sacraments. For Catholics, our sacramental life is at the heart of living as missionary disciples, nourishing us to be Christ’s light to the world and to others.

The Office of Youth and Young Adults is dedicated to fostering the spiritual growth and active engagement of young Catholics in our community. Through vibrant programs, retreats, and service opportunities, we empower youth and young adults to live out their faith with passion and purpose.

Marriage, Family Life & Spirituality

The Catholic Church considers marriage a great gift from God. As a sacrament, marriage signals and makes present the unconditional love of God.
