Fr. Jose Salgado’s priesthood was marked by dedication to traditional liturgy and pastoral care. Born in Tucson, Arizona, his unique vocational path led him first to the Diocese of Stockton and later to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. After serving faithfully near Denver for a decade, he returned to his beloved Arizona in 2006, ministering at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Clarkdale until his retirement in 2021. Fr. Salgado was called to eternal rest on March 8, 2025, at age 92.
