Fr. Leo Brogan’s priesthood was characterized by service to both parish and military communities. Born in Hawthrone, New Jersey, his ministry began in the Diocese of Phoenix, serving at St. Mary’s and St. Agnes parishes while also nurturing young souls as chaplain at Gerard Catholic High School. His naval chaplaincy took him around the world, where he achieved the rank of Captain. In retirement, he continued his priestly service to the Discalced Carmelite Nuns in San Diego until his peaceful passing on March 5, 2025, at age 85.
