Fr. John Coleman died August 2, 2022, at the age of 75.
Fr. John Coleman was born May 30, 1947 in Southern California and Ordained to the Priesthood on June 4, 1988.
Fr. John has served the Diocese in various capacities and in many of our local parishes, among these: St. Theresa Parish, Ss. Simon & Jude Cathedral, St. Maria Goretti Parish, Christ the King Parish, St. Rose Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, St. Daniel the Prophet Parish, St. Andrew Parish, and as the founding Pastor of St. Clare of Assisi in Surprise.
Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home, 1562 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 10:00am at Christ the King Parish, 1551 E Dana Ave, AZ 85204. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Mesa, AZ.
