Rev. William Waldron

Died November 5, 2014 at the age of 88.

Fr. Waldron was born January 16, 1926 in Claremorris, Co. Mayo, Ireland and was ordained to the priesthood on June 18, 1950 in All Hollows College, Dublin Ireland, for the Diocese of Tucson. He was incardinated in the Diocese of Phoenix in September of 1970. He served in many parishes in the Dioceses of Tucson and Phoenix including St. James Parish in Coolidge, St. Anthony Parish in Casa Grande, St. Mary’s in Chandler, Christ the King in Mesa, St. Matthew’s in Phoenix, St. Louis the King in Glendale, Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Scottsdale, St. Joachim & St. Anne-St. Clement of Rome-St. Elizabeth Seton Parishes in Sun City. He retired from St. Elizabeth Seton Parish in Sun City, July, 2000. He continued to attend priest events throughout his retirement years and faithfully served the people of God by offering the Sacraments and visiting the sick even up to the week of his death. May his faithful ministry continue to produce fruit in the lives of those he served.

Services were held at St. Joachim & St. Anne Parish. Fr. Waldron is buried at St. Francis Cemetery in Phoenix.
